AMT Position Statement on Regulation of Massage Therapy

AMT recently took part in an inter-association forum, convened with the aim of establishing common ground and finding ways of working cooperatively on shared agendas. Twenty-two complementary therapy associations were invited to the inaugural forum. These associations represent a broad spectrum of treatment modalities, including Reflexology, Bowen Therapy, Kinesiology, Herbalism, Naturopathy and Homeopathy.....Read more

NSW Code of Conduct for Unregistered Health Professionals comes into effect

From Friday August 1, 2008 all Massage Therapists working in NSW will be required to display a copy of the NSW Code of Conduct for Unregistered Health Professionals in their clinic(s). This new regulation was made as an amendment to the NSW Public Health Act (1991) and applies to all NSW AMT members.....Read more
