Classifieds

AMT Web Classifieds is available to AMT members and non-members.

There is a fee of $25.00 for AMT members and $125.00 for non-members for advertisements to a maximum 150 words.

You can submit your copy online by using the booking form here. Ads will be published for two months.

Please note: AMT will not advertise positions that pay by piece rates/per massage because these do not comply with Fair Work and NES provisions. We will only advertise massage-related goods and services, and other relevant notices. We cannot advertise the private clinics of individual AMT members.

Why should domestic and family violence matter to massage therapists?

Domestic and family violence (DFV) is a critical issue in Australia, with over 27% of women and 12% of men experiencing DFV since age 15. In this blog post, Dr Sarah Fogarty explains why DFV should matter to massage therapists. We also launch Sarah’s training on domestic and family violence, which is available for free to all AMT members.

The Corrections

The Australian government has introduced a range of workplace reforms through the Closing the Loopholes Act. Some of the changes will have broad impacts on the manner in which massage therapists are engaged in workplaces. Read on for more information.
